Why Use Synonyms?
Do you ever find yourself writing the same words over and over again? Lack of variety makes poems dull and uninviting; this is what synonyms were created for. A synonym is a word that has the same meaning as another word. For example, cold and icy are synonyms. Do you have a poem chock full of the same words? Try exploring some synonyms and throw in a couple of new words to spice up old poetry or create a new masterpiece today!
